Melinio was adopted in TBC's Dark Room. His father is Applefiend's Damen, his mother is unknown.
Melinio is a quiet member of Ajabu's runaway gang. He sticks mostly to himself, preferring to live in a dug-out tunnel rather than make a stick-and-leaf shelter every time it rains like all of the others. For an orphan, he lives well on his own, able to keep himself warm with a bed full of dead leaves and shedded fur. He isn't one for adventure, seeking more of the defense inherent to the gang, with safety in numbers.
Unlike most of the others, Mel is not necessarily a runaway, but an orphan that wandered into the open paws of the group. Along with Shiloh, he is the rare canine among all of the felines of the group, not that it much bothers the others.
