Born to a single father-mother and Construct "mother", Anubis's lineage is as much of a mystery to anyone as it is to him. Shiva took him in when his father, Horus, died, and blinded him to his own ideals, spoiling him into agreeing and aiding his forces. Originally of the dark force that is invading the last, he turned traitor when he discovered his own name on the list of those to be killed during a raid.
His personality is that of a quiet, mildly spoiled dog that wants to at least survive to die of old age. He wants to also live- meaning, the dark forces have to go away so he can enjoy what he has left, after the self-preservation era ends. He likes soft pillows and warm blankets, and hates getting too muddy, dirty or grimy. A Lapis Lazuli stud- in recognition of his bloodline- rests on his right ear.
